Jouni Heinonen

Jouni Heinonen is board professional and management consultant in Rohjeta Advisors.

Jouni is experienced professional services business leader and entrepreneur for more than 20 years. He is one of the leading advisors in reputation management in Europe.

He is also a co-founder of Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller, established in 1995, and acted as the company’s CEO for 18 years. Pohjoisranta was Burson-Marsteller’s exclusive affiliate in Finland from 2006, before becoming a majority-owned office in 2012. PBM is one of the leading communications agency of the country. From 2012-2016 Jouni was a Member of the Burson-Marsteller’s EMEA leadership Team. He was also Chair of the Burson-Marsteller’s Change & Organisational Performance practice in EMEA from 2012-2014.

Jouni is a popular lecturer and trainer. He has trained hundreds of people from the top management to blue collar in Finland and abroad. He has also lectured reputation management at the University of Helsinki. He is the co-author of four books about reputation management. His latest book, The Reputable Firm – How Digitalization of Communication Is Revolutionizing Reputation Management was published in 2016 by Springer.

Jouni is currently a Board Member in a private equity company, Juuri Partners, in a wealth management and consulting company Wallstreet Financial Services, and in a leading Finnish printing house, Erweko Oy. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of CV Group Oy, a management consultancy focusing on Board competence development and executive search. Further, he has been a Board member of the Finnish Association of Communications Agencies and Finnish Association of Communicators.

Jouni has a Masters’ degree from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Social Sciences, majoring in communications. Currently, he is accomplishing eMBA in Henley Business School.
